I've noticed this phrase in the manuals of both Mr. Bones and Virtua Racing. It may be present in more manuals. Doesn't it imply that the game gets easier as you progress? Do I have too much time on my hands?

Haha very good! They must mean each level's more difficult than the last surely?!

I certainly find Mr Bones easier as I progress, the early levels are pretty tough...

I hope thats the case as it took quite a few attempts to get past the first level. Still haven't made it past the 2nd level mausoleum.

I hope thats the case as it took quite a few attempts to get past the first level. Still haven't made it past the 2nd level mausoleum. Same. Except I eventually got fed up and sold the game. Even after using level select to access other levels, I found the game very uninspiring. However, lots of other people love the game, so maybe it's just me...

I certainly find Mr Bones easier as I progress, the early levels are pretty tough... There are tough ones later on too, though... I rate "The Icy Lake" as the toughest level. Apparently in the Japanese version, the game engine is modified for that level to make it easier. To quote a Mr. Bones FAQ "Hell hath a name, and it is The Icy Lake."
