Hey all! My saturn history consists of owning an original PAL model 2 back in the day and playing Guardian Heroes non stop. Being young and foolish I traded in everything for £25, wanted the money for N64 games, what an idiot. A couple of years ago I got the craving and tried to play GH via emulator but it wasn't the same. A couple of weeks ago I was jonesing real bad, I caved and ordered a saturn on ebay. It came with tombraider but the disc was scratched badly and the console was having trouble playing it. I'm away at the moment and have ordered a few games since then which are now waiting at home for me, hopefully they are readable on the system, hopefully it was just the battered tomb raider disc that was the problem. I plan on rebuying every game I traded in on that fateful day. You know I have Tomb Raider, Sonic R and Sonic Jam are waiting for me in an envelope on my bed and Clockwork night is on top of them in it's own envelope (though I never actually owned that one) Longish post but I'm so excited that I'm back in the game I'd talk about it for ages!

Welcome!
We all have made our blunders over the years!
Tomb Raider is a lot of fun and I've kept my TR saves from when the game came out. I like Sonic Jam too.
Guardian Heroes will cost you a little bit now.
Enjoy!

Being young and foolish I traded in everything for £25, wanted the money for N64 games, what an idiot. I must say that is rather foolish considering Guardian Heroes goes for £35 or more now days. I was also a model 2 player back in the day and have recently bought another saturn. It's amazing rediscovering the magic you experienced during your childhood. Happy collecting and welcome to the forums mate.

yeah it's ridiculous skippy, back then it was right at the end of the saturns life and Guardian Heroes didn't have the rep it does now, in fact the saturn was seen as a bit of a failure so they weren't paying much for them.
Even so, whatever age I was when I did the deed, £25 quid still seemed alot to me, meant I could buy about 4 second hand N64 games. Now I just dropped £40 on GH and that doesn't even seem that much for it, worth every penny. It's all relative, back then I wanted the money but now I can afford it I want the saturn ^_^
