I just wanted to say "Hi" and introduce myself here. I've been playing the Saturn pretty much since launch, with the system being my main gaming machine during the 32 bit era, and resorting to Japanese imports when the system died in the US.
I haven't played it much in the past 10 years though, as the system was replaced by the Dreamcast, and my two Saturn systems each had issues. One had a broken CD door, and the other had audio video problems, and they went on my shelf to fix eventually. Fast forward to last week, I finally decide to fix at least one of them. I fixed the CD door, popped in a new battery, loaded some old saves from my PAR and put in my favorite Saturn game, Daytona USA! I was back in heaven again.
I dug out all my Saturn games and made nice DVD cases for them so I wouldn't risk damaging the fragile huge US cases. Then I dug out my 3d Controller, Arcade Racer, and Stunner, and cleaned them off.
