I connected my Saturn to my DVD player using AV cables (the red, yellow, and white one) and my DVD player to the television by a scart cable. Is the video I see scart quality or what?

Thats like saying "I've put some cow shit through a mincer and served it with diane sauce, is it now a steak?"
The SCART signal you want is RGB, RGB has to come from the Saturn, and the yellow composite cable does not carry RGB.
You need and RGB SCART Saturn lead.

I see. I'll probably pick up a scart cable one of these days. I appreciate it.
