sorry if this has been asked before, but I was wondering: Can you take a 32 pin cd board out of a US saturn and say, put it in a JP saturn?
I only ask because I was planning on getting a japanese saturn, and if I end up getting one with a 64 pin board I was going to take the 32 pin board out of my one of my US saturns and put it in the japanese one because I the 32pin boards are easier to install a modchip on than the 64 pin. hope that made sense. thanks.

I dont thing, although I could be wrong, that the laser assembley boards can be swapped bwtween 32 and 64 pin systems.
Feel free to correct me though anyone, been a long while since I tried anything like this...

As long as they're equivalent units, you can swap laser assemblies across regions. I've done it (I believe) on a 32-pin boards between US and JP models.
