Hey Guys,
I just found this site and decided to join. Its one of my favorite systems released and i recently just found mine today after being buried for years. Anyways here is some nostalgia for ya...
Christmas 1995 I recieved a Sega 32X for my genesis. The system did not work, so we took it back and could not get the games returned. We ended up purchasing a Sega Saturn days later and got virtua cop with it. Although my parents wanted me to get the playstation at the time(probably because it was $100 less). Anyways i had alot of fun with the system. Sega ended up giving me a game for the two 32x games i had bought. I enjoyed it for years, playing classics like virtua fighter 2,nights,UMK 3 and so on. The system was cut-short here in the USA and pretty much by 1998 it was not even available any more. I was always happy with it as it was pretty much the closest thing to having an arcade in your own home.
2005-2006--I decided to purchase another saturn for nostalgia reasons. I ended up getting one in mint condition for 5 bucks. I played it lightly for a few weeks and pretty much put it in storage.
2010- Almost 15 years after i originally purchased my saturn. I no longer have my 1st one but i do have my 2nd saturn still. I found it today packed away. I was like a kid on christmas mourning. I hooked it up and played the two games i had ( UMK3 and NBA JAM). There is a local store that sells used retro games. I will be going there tommarow too look for classics like Daytona USA and Virtua Fighter.
Sorry for ranting. Im just excited there is a community for my saturn. Something i have always loved(since i was 10 anyways)
