Hi everyone, My Model 2 Saturn died =( So I reckon I'll just replace it with a Japanese Model 2 as I've decided I'm going to collect those at the moment =P
Now the PSU in my Model 2 is fine and I was wondering how successful I would be in exchanging the Japanese 120v PSU with my Australian 240v

Easy peasy, as long as it fits.
Some of the very early model 2 Saturns have the earlier power supplies, open them up and take a look.
However from experience the lower input voltage JP power supplies seem a lot more reliable, could be much better in the long run to just invest in a stepdown transformer.

Ah right, cool =) Yeah i'm short of money at them moment so I'll just swap them over if it fits, and later on if I have the money I might swap them back and use a step down converter =)

So the Saturn I was looking at has power supply which is AV 100v 50/60 12w. Whilst the Saturn that died has a power supply that is 220/240 50/60 20w. My question is will the difference in watts break the game console?
EDIT: Also, it's a HST-3220 so Model 2 power supply should fit if the voltage is ok =)

If anyone is interested I ended up getting a 250watt stepdown for 150
