You probably did this already, but if not, pull up on the cartridge slightly.

There are fake knock-off versions of the cart. open it up for sure and take pics.

Report him to eBay and if you paid via Paypal, you'll probably get your money back whether he likes it or not.

i have a pro universal adapter and that will work so i do not know. Does that have a thicker board than the AR cart? If it does the pins on the Saturn's cart slot may need to be bent back so that it's getting good contact.

Anyway, definitely worth reporting him to eBay. I won an auction for a XBOX360 HD player with movies a while back and the guy said his Dad had changed his mind about selling it (I won it really cheaply). A week later, it went back on auction so I complained to eBay and they gave me a £20 credit to spend on eBay. They also gave me another one after I left negative feedback for a guy that sold me a fake Chinese DVD boxset instead of the real thing.
Maybe I was lucky they were monitoring the negative feedback at the time I don't know but I was still pleased to get the credit. So yeah, definitely complain and definitely leave him negative feedback.
