So I have opened my saturn to see its inside,,, it seems to be a sanyo drive with the yellow like colour with a white strip around it... After searching info about it people have had problems modding this medel type. The thing is is that my one doesnt have a PC trap, the ribbon just goes strait to the motherboard. So I'm gonna buy the Rob webb modchip and attch it inbetween the ribbon connection and then the power cable to the 5v thingy. Do I need to scratch or solder anything on the mod chip itself? like stated at the bottom here?

If you get the Rob Webb one, it doesn't come with the 5v wire you need (or at least mine didn't), so make sure you have some. If you have any old, broken PC's/ laptops etc, there will be loads inside and you can simply cut a length out. That's what I did
