Hi, for some time I was thinking about this, I have the saturn Virtua Gun and the Total Control 3 that let's you connect saturn controllers to a Dreamcast. I've tried saturn controllers and the Virtua Stick, it works perfectly! My question is, will it work with the Virtua Gun? will it act like a Dreamcast light-gun? I tried looking for some info on the net before trying but found nothing, I remember there was also some kind of warning on the Virtua Gun booklet that it should not be used with games that are not suitable (or something like that) I have Virtua Cop for the Dreamcast and House of the Dead, they were also released for the saturn so if I were to test it I would start with these lol ;D Still I'm a bit scared to try and maybe damage the gun, what do you think? will it work?

This is interesting. Wondering if anybody has experience trying a 100hz PS2 lightgun with the Total Control 2 or similar adapter? There are a few lightguns available for PS2 that are 100hz compatible.

Just use a 12-guage.
It works universally with all consoles. Even on non-lightgun games!

I tried this with all sorts of guns from different regions. The best you can hope for is that the start button and trigger buttons will register, but the light sensing mechanisms never work.
Also PS2 light guns do not work on the dreamcast via their total control plus.
There is an SRC biorifle made for the dreamcast with the same Saturn Enforcer plastic shell design, but it is designed for European systems & tv's, and will not work on US or Japanese devices (again the buttons function, but the signal is not appropriate for the sensor to give good shots).
