Today, I finally managed to mod a Saturn SCART cable for composite sync, this has completley cured my XRGB3 problems and resulted in a slightly more stable picture too (though you'd need to stick your nose against the screen to notice). Really I'd been without a fully working Saturn now since I decided in October last year it looked too crappy on my new TV.
You forget just how beautiful 2D is on this console, when used with a proper display or processor. I may have blown a lot of cash and time on this setup, but when watching attract modes is fun, let alone actually playing, well, I think it's been worth it ;D
Now just waiting for my Csync modded Genesis to get back from Console Passion...

Nice one buckoa51!! I good picture makes the world of difference - even though a 'sharp' display doesn't improve some of those ragged textures on some of the 3D games, 2D games look sweet!! I wouldn't trade my CRT in for the world, I just hope it's got plenty of years life left in it!!

Yep hang onto that CRT, for Saturn and earlier era consoles they can't be beaten!
