I discovered some small issue when a JP Video card is used on a region modded US Saturn. Not a big deal breaker, but it does get annoying if you have the card in your slot all the time, and want to manage your memory often. I made a youtube vid on the topic, maybe you'll find it informative, and this video may be useful on the Saturn wiki. I was almost driving myself nuts when I first discovered that my Saturn freezes, and I had no idea that the Vid card was the problem. I took apart the Saturn all the way and cleaned and checked all the pins, and even re soldered my wires to make sure... Then I finally got the answer..... the vid card.... Such a small problem causing lots of craziness for me I hope this vid will help someone else I've confirmed that the same problem does exist with a non modded US Saturn model 1 also.

Good to know that can cause problems.
There really is no reason in this day and age to keep your VCD card in your Saturn, even the cheapest DVD players offer better VCD playback.

Yeah, your right Mick, I'm taking my card out until I play any of the compatible games But then again, for some reason I feel like I have a superior gaming system when the card is in there

Hm, interesting. I'll try it out and report back on my end (it'll be a few weeks as everything is in storage at the moment, as I'm in the middle of a move).
I never noticed any problems on my region modded saturns (a mk1 US model), but about 80% of my collection is Japanese, so I might not have had the chance to run across this problem. I always keep my VCD card (also a twin operator) in the slot, as there's no real reason to take it out once it's in there, either.
Now, which version of twin operator are you using, BTW?
