I didn't know about the original Panzer Dragoon having a lock-on laser, either. In fact, it wasn't until I played the demo of Zwei and went back to see if this "new" feature worked in the first that I discovered it was actually there all along - that'll teach me to NOT read those paper things that come with my games! *facepalm*

Just pee & poo everywhere. I had set it by the door so I could grab it and go after the bar. It was a Sega facepalm moment. Hope you didn't facepalm immediately after you grabbed the bag !!! ;D

It wasn't in a bag Could have saved it if I had. Four boxer's can really do a ton of damage. It was '96 so it was fairly easy/cheap to replace but still. My buddy wanted to pay and I said no...shit happens...ba-dump-bump

Mine would be selling a lot of my saturn shmups in a weak moment when the wife was nagging me about space. I am still now trying to track them all down again. I should have just hidden them as now I am spending silly money just to get where I was.
I guess its more of a hindsight facepalm, but still annoys me on almost a weekly basis!

This is why I'm against gamers marrying non-robots. Or just find someone who respects you enough to not make silly demands regarding your hobby. Last I checked CD cases don't take up much space.

You know who I've found to have a lot of respect for hobbies? Because they were programed that way? Robots.

@ dump - If Saturn games are the biggest of her worries then you're doing just fine. If I were her I'd be more annoyed about the copious amounts of porn. Trade you for a week if you like

Mine would be starting a game of Shining Force 3 Sc3 and not having enough space on the internal memorey to save.
Now, I hear you say, "just turn to the console off and clear some space."
Not that easy. I was using save data from Sc1 and Sc2. So, I left my Saturn on all day and night for ages. Got to the end of the game and was leveling my characters up when the electric went off. Man, I nearly cried.

The thing is, she has cottoned on to the idea that some of the games are valuable and so in her mind every few games sold is space and the potential to buy more shoes to fill the newly created space.
Not much of a market for used porn however.
Still she has all but given up now so it looks like I wont be selling any of my stuff again until I really want to.
And as for swapping wives/ lives, not a chance. Your mrs would kill me within the first few hours and more importantly Im not into Wii.

Sorry if this just adds to your facepalm, but the way you get around the memory limitations with Scenario 3 is to start the game, enter a battle, delete the Scenario 2 save, and then create your Scenario 3 save in its place. Pretty simple, really. I feel your pain, though. I had to replay through all of Scenario 1 and two thirds of Scenario 2 because my Scenario 2 save crashed all the memory in both my Saturn and memory cartridge.

That's what I had done, but there still wasn't enough memorey. I think I had another saved game in there. Got a feeling it was Burning Rangers.

Ahhh, I gotcha. So you lost your Scenario 2 complete save too, then? Ouch.
