Hey everyone.. Does anyone know of this card? To me it looks like a pirated version of a Action Reply cart, and added features..

WOW, that looks fucking useful, Memory card/RAM AND action replay with a switch?
Do you have any idea where I can buy one?

It would be interesting if it let you switch between a memory cartridge or RAM cartridge so you could save directly to it.
Have you tried it out? How does it work?

Thats exactly what I am looking for, if it actually is able to switch between RAM/Backup Memory!

As awesome as that looks, I'll bet the PCB is big and will mess up your cartridge slot. But with that, if it works like most of us are hoping, you wouldn't need to remove it would you

Never saw this one (and interested in it) but it is probably a chinese product. There are a lot of type of cartridges that have been made overthere.
What you must know is you CAN'T have Backup RAM and Extended RAM (1MB or 4MB) at the same time, BUT you can have AR+Backup RAM at the same time in the same way you can have AR+Extended RAM. "Official" AR took the 2nd way, but some chinese cartridges choose the other way and the most advanced one let you choose between both (and more possibilities).

Yea. That's why I was wondering what the switch was for Madroms... what if it switched between RAM and save memory?

Well I'm going to buy it very soon and I'll get back to you guys, at this stage it's claimed as working. But if many of you can't figure out where it came from, then it must be an awesome find!

I wish the official AR cart had a switch to act as AR+backup instead of AR+exram, it's a pain to use the gimped memory manager they put in it.

I picked up one of these minus that sticker in a lot from a YJ Auction quite a while back, it's never worked for anything, think it's sat in a drawer in bits somewhere. Nice to finally see what the switch is for, I'd always assumed it switched between banks of memory like a lot of the 3rd party N64 memory cards did.
Hopefully you'll have more luck with yours.
