Hey guys, Some of you might know that I'm in the middle of fixing my non-operational Saturn right now using a generic Optima 150s laser lens . Some also know that while being a non-experienced idiot, I've managed to tear the connectors on the end of of the ribbon cable that goes to into said lens (that is, the thin cable). I've asked around some members, but neither have a spare at the moment - can anyone here provide me with one? I'd be willing to pay you some, too. The Saturn is a US Model 1.

Yup mick, you were among the first I've asked And that is actually not the one. I need the one that goes straight into the lens part, straight, thin, and short w/15 pins. As seen in this picture!

Couldn't you order them from an electronics shop? Like Farnell? Search for FFC or FPC cables, chances are you won't find the exact model the Saturn needs, but you can just cut off any extra traces from it so it fits in the machine.

Just did! Sorry for being late, I was in Japan until early yesterday, didn't take my laptop with me. Thanks @zyro: sadly, I am such an electronics noob that I didn't even know you could do that. What's FFC or FPC?

Flat flexible cable and flexible printed circuit. They are the "technical" names of what you just call as Ribbon cable. They are off the shelf components, the only problem is that I couldn't find one with the exact pinout on the Saturn, but you can buy a wider one and cut off the unneeded parts.
