Good day all! I have often visited the site, registered a couple of days ago and this is my first post. It's great to see such an active Saturn community. I first had a Saturn in 1998 (the last days of the Saturn empire I know!!), I got it for £60 and enjoyed it thoroughly. I was always aware that it was the underdog at the time but that somehow made owning it all the more fun. Calamity struck 5 years ago when the old girl died so needing the space I just sold on my Saturn games collection (terrible decision) and absorbed myself in the current gen of consoles. Fast forward to a few months ago and suddenly got a real urge to play Sega games on Sega systems, the Megadrive was first, then I dusted off the Dreamcast- then back to the Master System (where It all began for me as far as consoles went) I even have an Sg-1000 emulator! But there was a gaping hole where the Saturn should be and I got a searing pang for Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter 2, the Saturn version of Tomb Raider, (even Croc!!) and many other classics. I have persuaded the powers that be that the return of a Saturn would be a great idea. I ordered one and am now waiting for it's arrival with great anticipation to recapture those days of carefree gaming! I have to start again from scratch but I can't blooming wait!!!

Welcome Sidney.
Where abouts from Surrey are you from? I used to live in Epsom when I owned a Saturn (probably only one of only about 5 people in the whole of Epsom to own one actually)?

Thanks for the welcome guys, it's great to be on-board. What a fantastic site this is and it's good to know that there is a healthy Saturn fanbase out there. It's a great time for me to get back into the Saturn and as Mick says - exciting times are ahead!!! I am based in Sutton Surrey by the way.
