Korean retro consoles are typically very rare. Sadly when they are done with their gaming stuff it becomes landfill, they don't treat this stuff with any respect.

You HAD to point this out didn't you, this will almost certainly go beyond what I'm willing to spend now, these come up far more often than is generally believed, just not on eBay.

notice how the seller doesn't mention if it works. Return shipping to S. Korea isin't cheap either. I wish a different seller was offering it.

I can tell you that the vast amount of these outside Korea that I'm aware of are non-working units, including the horrible condition one that I have.

Mine works perfectly Btw, the one on sale has a very bad condition box (but it is here) and is missing the sticker with the serial number, on the back of the console, and maybe something else (apart the manual).

I can't believe it went for that much. I was after it but no where near that price range. I wonder if the winner is a forum local?

A few weeks in South Korea tracking one down would have cost less, but that's not an option for everyone. Typical eBay over inflated prices.

You HAD to point this out didn't you, this will almost certainly go beyond what I'm willing to spend now, these come up far more often than is generally believed, just not on eBay. With no offence meant, the majority of that interest wasn't from your forum. If you had put a gagging order on people here, it'd still have been posted on dozens of other forums, and just noticed in general by Saturn collectors. And, regardless of whether it's on one forum or a hundred, it went for what someone was prepared to pay for it - which was obviously more than you were. I was very interested, but my finances at the moment don't stretch anywhere near that. And trust me, you would be VERY hard pressed to find a nice, boxed example in Korea. I've been looking and had contacts looking for years.
