I would get a jp saturn and pick up a cheaper copy of deep fear, but the last time I played a game with japanese subtitles (resident evil CV) I ended up crying after getting to a point which I just didn't understand. So I tend to just stick with pal stuff

I really enjoyed it as well. I picked up the Japanese version first since I already had a JP Saturn and the disc switching would be no problem. If you have a region modded Saturn or JP Saturn, I'd just get the JP version. Wait, so you can't switch the disks if you only use an Action Replay?

There is no save game option at the end of disc 1 so no. When you pop the lid to switch discs, the Saturn gives you a disc error with disc 2 and you have to hit the reset button losing your disc 1 stored info.

I think 70 pounds is ridiculous I managed to snag a copy of this on amazon for 30pounds problem is the second disk is scratched severely so I'll have to use the disk cleaner as a last resort... For the price I payed made the game seem worth it but if I'd payed anymore I'd feel ripped off. Honestly if your looking for a good survival horror game get Resident Evil: Code Veronica on the dreamcast it's much better and cheaper!

£70 is indeed ridiculous. Just because there are currently no copies on eBay UK for the first time in ages doesn't mean that a massive price inflation is warranted.

LOL? I think 70 pounds is ridiculous I managed to snag a copy of this on amazon for 30pounds... I'M NOT INTO... collecting for the PAL Saturn (I pick up titles here, and there) but imo, objectively speaking, I really don't think there are ANY PAL releases that are worth owning at that price. I think the highest end of PAL Saturn collecting prices should hit a ceiling of around £40 - £50, with MAYBE PDSaga being an exception at around £60 tops. In general, £50 upward for a PAL Saturn release, in my own mind, is just crazy! Funnily enough though, ALL the best games can be had for very reasonable prices, thus off-setting the odd extreme case. It's not just the Saturn that has these intriguing anomalies though. They appear on ALL platforms - from Atari Jaguar to NeoGeo (AES). And, with all platforms, the cost doesn't usually ever justify the means to the end. Just look at the price of Last Hope on AES. I rarely use the term 'LOL'... however... LOL! (This discussion has just spurned the idea for a new thread, actually.) @swedishmeat... Dude, how on Earth did you happen across owning 5x copy of a game like Deep Fear? I mean... 5x VF1 or VF2, 5x SEGA Rally etc I can understand, due to bundle purchases. But Deep Fear? You've either had a lot of luck with bundle purchases or have deep, unfearful pockets (sorry )

NeoGeoNinja i bought some and got some in lots etc just lucky to come across this copies and belive me in 10 years this game will be worth 500 GBP. And also 70 GBP including postage in mint condition is not overpriced at all but ofc everybody has their opinion . U can buy new PS3 games expansive but not an old classic expansive ?
