Oh, and whoever snatched VirtualOn for €10,50 the other day made me a very unhappy ebayer. It wasn't me but get used to that. The Saturn seems to be one of the hot collectibles at the moment. Oh yeah, Welcome!

Being on the short end of the stick when it comes to ebay bids isn't such a bad thing. Kinda prevents me from going into a complete spending frenzy. It's hard to stay restrained, I see golden opportunities everywhere. "Ï need this, and that, definitely got to have that one, need this too, hmmmm... might be a while before I run into this game again, better pick this one up now too, etc, etc." It's endless.
Thanks for the welcome.

Hey welcome and enjoy the best console system in the world I can agree that it becomes harder to get saturn stuff for good prices on eBay. In Germany I get much less stuff than 2 years ago. But Dreamcast is relatively cheap atm and so I can make a couple of buys there and come back to saturn after that But I doubt that it will get cheaper. God save my chipped Saturn and his spare brother which make me sleep well

NOW is definitely the time to be buying Dreamcast, give it a couple of years and prices will be ridiculous.

Yeah... I'm a gamer first collector second so I don't mind buying games with only the disc or even just downloading them, it's not like it's harming anyone anymore.

I wanted to keep collecting games for my saturn light and fun, but right off the bat things spun out of control. I spend way to much cash on games the last, what's it been, two weeks? No more ebay bids for me for a while. I find a collectors mania to be quite stressful. Time to let go and actually start playing the damn games, I got enemies to shoot and combo's to learn.

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. I have also phases where I buy several items in one month and then I become reasonable again and don't even check ebay for a couple of months. But then it starts again I am just now in such a phase of buying but realized that there is not very much Saturn stuff to buy and prices are often ridiculous. Then I saw that Dreamcast is still cheap and that there are many good games to get. I also see it as an investment which I can sell when I have to what hopefully never happens When I see prices of Saturn games like thunderforce V, Batsugun, Battle Garegga, Silhouette Mirage etc. I think Mick is absolutelly right that the same will happen to Dreamcast in maybe 5 years. I don't know if I am more a collector than a gamer buy I don't like to play a valueable game from the original when I have the opportunity to play it from cd-r. Maybe I became more of an collector in the past years but still love and enjoy playing all the fantastic games.
