OKAY... I'm not at all technical when it comes to all this AV business, however...
Not to derail the thread, but I've often wondered, when running the likes of 'switchable' games through RGB (i.e. games on DC or PS2 that can be switched, via the options menu between 50/60Hz), why does the image quality seemingly drop when switched to full screen, full speed 60Hz vs 50Hz? (as in it becomes, I suppose, hazier/more blurred... like US TV programmes vs UK. Does that make sense?).
Doesn't seem to do this on consoles (like the Saturn) which can be set to PAL 50/NTSC 60 via the hardware itself - via a switch...

Can you give some specific examples? What TV/AV Gear are you using?
