This is one of the only Saturn games available at a local shop. Complete. I've not heard much about this game. Any opinions?

Pretty difficult to get hold of IIRC. Snap it up.

It's a very, very odd game and pretty hilarious too (laughing at it, not with it).
I like it but this may be nostalgia. I bought it at a market for £10.00 when I was a kid and took it home and completed it that night, so don't expect it to last you very long.

The Sega CD one is much better, this one is more of a sequel. If you like point and click adventure games you'll like it but it is short.
edit: I should add that personally I really enjoyed it.

I heard the sega cd version is the best version and it's a prequal to torico. which si one of the best games I've ever played on the saturn. that's why I'm always interested in picking it up when I can find it. I've also heard that it;s a horrible game

I've also heard that it;s a horrible game Torico is probably the best out of all of them. I wouldn't consider Torico related to the other ones at all besides similar gameplay. There were actually 2 mansion of hidden souls for sega cd. A prequel called Yumemi Mystery Mansion. That one is Europe only so I havn't had a chance to play it but I sooooo want to.

I've long had a strange fascination with this one too, despite its poor reputation. The USA version is pretty common, but for whatever reason I have yet to stumble on a good deal for the game.
