How do you fix the sensor so it thinks the drive door is always closed on this type of Saturn? I've searched but can't find any good guides or pictures. I borrowed this picture from another thread, thank you IceMaN30.

Should be a simple switch under that plate towards the back of the door, tape it in the closed position

I used a jumper. Not a perfect fit though, so you can't push it in properly or else it'll bend the pins / break the connector. It serves its purpose though. You can use any small piece of metal there, though, as long as it is not loose.

...or if you don't have a jumper you can always solder a wire between the two solder points on the board that the connector uses.

That's basically wielding it shut though. You can put any small piece of metal there as long as it doesn't fall out, I first used a little piece of solder cut down and stuck in there.
I think you can tape it down somewhere on the plastic too, but I haven't tried that.

You know, I never realised the door mechanism on those models worked like that, guess I've never really had to do anything to it! This can all go in the FAQ

Hello dudes.
Can somebody post the ZYROBS picture again or give me a link that explain how to fool the sensor on early Japanese Saturn ?
Thank you very much.

Put a jumper (from an old PC) into the 2-pin connector on the side of the drive. It's not a perfect fit, but it is enough to make it connect.

Finally I found by myself by disconnecting the 2-pin connector (CDROM wasn't spinning anymore) and putting a ohm-meter on it (open/closed) but thanks for confirming
