Do they exist? The earliest I can find on the "net" is april, but considering it was released in early may that seems like a pretty tight schedule.

Heh. You can't be clear on "when was this Saturn made", since separate parts are made at separate places, and assembled at separate places as well. The best you can do is write down all the dates you see on every component (chips, motors, power supply, case), find the latest date from all of those, and consider that the earliest possible date it could have been manufactured at. But if you take logistics into account, it was likely made much later.
For what it's worth, the earliest USA Saturn motherboard says 1994 on it. But that's just the motherboard itself, not all the components on it, or the disc drive, power supply, heatsink, and case. It may date to mid 1995 if you take all the rest into account.

I was thinking more in terms of the sticker on the bottom If it says april 1995, is it a launch day system in America or does it exist systems that says march, february etc. 1995 on the bottom?

They might have made allot of them in april so they could feed all the nerds next mounth ? But only one month to manufacture the systems (or at least put the last pieces together), ship them by boat and then distribute them throughout America - that's a pretty tight schedule. Even if it's doable it's kind of unnecessary when the system had been out in Japan for several months.

Ah, those! I only have 3 records of those stickers, two from 1996 and one from 1997. It would be nice if people made pictures of those as well, I'd include them in my serial db.

I don't have any pictures right now, but My systems are B5 009716 April 1995 050048863 July 1995 I don't believe there are any USA saturns before April, especially since the shell on my B5 saturn has a date halfway between March and April 1995. (assuming that those are the earliest units)

Guys, can you take pictures of those? I'll include them next to the serials in my db.
There may be March units on extremely low serial numbers, lower than the ones steve has. One member here has a lower serial, B5 005976. Maybe that one has 1995 March, but I doubt.

Thanks for the pictures! I got my US saturn at launch. The sticker on bottom says April 1995. How long after launch, the same week? That wouldn't matter since they were selling an existing stockpile of consoles made up until the launch. So even if you were the 1st guy to buy a console on launch day, you may have ended up with one made in, say, June 1995.

I got my US saturn at launch. The sticker on bottom says April 1995. How long after launch, the same week? Not sure. I used to head to ToysRus every other week as that's when I got paid back then. I was totally blown away that Sega had a new system out. The bottom stickers on my two model 1 saturns are identical the the two that have been already posted. I have B5 025172, B5 034821, and a model 2 that's dated August of 96 that is AE68076397.
