Did anyone on here have one of these? I am trying to find out if they work with analogue Saturn pads, ready for Sega Nights, or if they are digital only. Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything with the search.

I'm ashamed to say I don't have one, sorry, I went the USB Saturn pad route instead.

It was me who has one, but I've only used a normal Saturn Pad which works and fell back to the more simpler 9pin C64/MD controller side of it. This was the link of the actual adapter you may recall: denki.world3.net/retro_v2.htmlIf you scroll down about 1/3 of the page your see supported pads and Sega Saturn Analogue (NiGHTS) Controller is listed. Can't see it being a problem when DC & PS2 pads are supported for analogue too. Maybe try a cheap PSone or XBOX adapter, old GAME branded one works on PC and see how the game is it's self and with such a type of pad make your mind up from there...? I think with most retro adapters and most defo this one above other than 9pin which is standard all other supported machines beyond 9pin are an extra add-on as you require the actual port end to plug your pad in too. So that's something else on top of the adapter to think about. EDIT: Now it's not the middle of the night... Just dug out the Saturn connection and plugged the Nights Pad in. Game Controllers under Control Panel all buttons and analogue stick both 3D and digital work straight away with no calibration required. I have full control of the cross hair with the thumb stick. In 3D mode: X Axis / Y Axis = Thumb stick Point of View Hat = Dpad X Ro. = Left Rigger, also lights up button 7 when pressed. Y Ro. = Right Trigger, also lights up button 8 when pressed. Buttons 1 = A 2 = B 3 = C 4 = X 5 = Y 6 = Z 12 = Start When pad is set to + mode the Dpad now goes over to X/Y Axis, everything else the same as above. It works, but no real software or emulators to make full use of it at this time on my crusty PC.

Jolly good thanks, of course the awesome Keio adaptor was bound to support it huh? I do have a 360 pad I use for the bulk of PC gaming, but with people saying the controls feel odd I wanted to try the Saturn pad and tweak that if possible. Mind you, still no sign of PC Nights!

No worries. Well at least on PC your not limited to the one pad. Some of the cheap branded 360 pads are very different on the thumb sticks like the MadCatz has as bigger deadzone then the official pad. Maybe something as simple as that is why people don't get on with it on 360? Not forgetting some will also treat an thumb stick as if it is a Dpad which never helps.

The white Saturn USB pads you can get off e-bay for about £7 are very good.
Only flaw to them is if you drop it, the directional pad pops off as it's just a plasticy mould thingy. You know what I mean if youv'e ever dropped one as mine pop's out often lol.
Still very good though, even the d-pad.
