Just wondering before I end up spending the money, Will a PAL version of Rayman play on my NTSC saturn with an action replay cart. I only ask cuz I've heard that some games will not play well or at all and just wanna know before I buy. Also I bought a PAL version of Worms before thinking of it sure hope it works

Not sure about Rayman - I tried PAL Worms on my NTSC console using the AR and it seemed to be OK - there might have been a tiny bit of overscan (i.e. a bit of the image chopped at the bottom of the screen) but I don't recall it being significant or affecting the game - there might be an image adjust option that minimises it - can't remember now.

I've been playing worms ( PAL ) on a japanese Saturn with action replay cart all weekend ( My sisters kid loves the game ) . You should be fine. Like Davyk I have no experience with Rayman, but it should work.

I must add that one is better of playing Worms on a pc rather than the Saturn. The game can get slow and I find the whole aiming with a controller lacking in accuracy. I'm a great fan of Worms and its still a nice title to have for your Sega, don't get me wrong. Its also one of the more affordable games out there. Its just that this is the sort of game that runs better on a pc.

I'll try checking later today as I have a PAL copy of Rayman and a JPN Saturn.

I'm a great fan of Worms and its still a nice title to have for your Sega, don't get me wrong. Its also one of the more affordable games out there. Its just that this is the sort of game that runs better on a pc. That depends entirely on your preference. Aiming is the same for most weapons because you use the d-pad on Saturn and keyboard on PC, except for a handful of weapons that use the cursor, where the mouse has an advantage. The only other thing that gets slow is general overview of the battlefield as you have to manually scroll the screen. But the slower pace just means that you have more time to think about your move - the PC version is just too quick in that regard, and often boils down to fast, quick, random blasts instead of well-calculated attacks. I've used to play both versions for very long, and I'm partial to the Saturn one. Though the PC one does add a lot of extras due to its nature (custom level graphics, editing, etc), and then there are the sequels.

Worms Armageddon was/is a brilliant update - used to play it a lot on the office LAN at lunchtimes.

Hi, I've tried a PAL version of Rayman on my Japanese Saturn with a 4-in-1 action replay cartridge: Game was is full screen but a piece of the picture was missing on the top and on the buttom... US version was in full screen too but nothing was missing.
