I apologise in advance but I did use the search function to no avail.
This is a question about the mouse itself and sort of a WTB as well. I have looked on eBay already and they want $100 for a Sega Saturn mouse. Is that truly the going rate? The only two games I own and want to review for CRR is Warcraft 2 and Z. I have been told the mouse works on both games. So does anyone know of any games that would benefit from the mouse? 'Cause if $100 IS the going rate, then I'd want more than 2 games to use it. Thanks.

No it's not.
I got 2 brand new ones from Genkivideogames for £5 each earlier this year. Have a look on there because they might not have any.
Unfortunately one of mine doesn't work (even though it was new!) or id send you one because I dont need 2.

Dezaemon 2 uses the mouse by the way, that's what I wanted it for.

Just checked for you and they have a brand new one for £12.99. Add shipping to you and probably £20 in total.

I have the white mouse that came with the Sakura Taisen box set. I think it cost $15. Yep. I did the same - despite owning already a disc only copy of the game - basically because it was the cheapest way of getting myself a mouse (and the Sakura Taisen mouse-mat is very nice too!!).

Thank you very much, guys. I should probably look at the steering wheel and virtua stick as well as that other dual stick bit of hardware which was designed for Virtual On.

The standard western virtua stick with about 2 exceptions is the worse arcade stick for the system IMHO

What is the best arcade stick, then?

You'll find wildly differing opinions on that, and of course it comes down to personal preference, but my Hori is my saturn arcade stick of choice.

Yeah, micks right regarding the official arcade stick released in PAL regions (the black one), some people here seem to think they're okay, but personally I think they're far from satisfactory. My personal stick of choice is the Sega's Japanese virtua stick HSS-0136 - the buttons could be better (i.e. micro-switched), but they're well sprung and they work fine with zero issues. Like-wise, the stick itself (which IS micro-switched) is simply fantastic. However, I haven't used a Hori stick yet and everything I've heard (at least regarding the Saturn ones) is very favorable - it's just a shame they don't look particularly great, at least to my biased eyes. But hey, it's the way these things 'feel' and work right?

YEAH THEY ARE, BUT... they of course come with some serious impracticalities, obvious ones! Best off with 2x individual JPN Virtua Sticks imo, unless you genuinely have room for an all out dedicated Astro City Stick set-up? If so... amazing!
