..looks like a decent title. I've watched loads of footage on Youtube.
Anyone played it?

Didn't like it on Saturn, it was supposed to be import friendly but I found it too confusing without knowing Japanese. There's a PSP version that's fully translated apparently.

Played it, own it - love it. ;D It can be slightly daunting to begin with playing the game with zero knowledge of Japanese and the menu can prove a pain initially (especially when you first try mixing ingredients for example). However, there's nothing that will keep you stumped for long with a little bit of experimentation - So if the Saturn version is your only option, then I'd say the unique gameplay and sumptuous graphics make it a more than worthy purchase. Anyway, there are plenty of walkthrough's/FAQ's out there for both the Saturn and PSP incarnations, so you can find any help you need should you require it.

It's certainly worth picking up Rossi, it's getting rarer and goes for 60 bucks (AU$) atm, which isn't too bad. The PSP version is also Japan only, but PSP controls and loadtimes aren't exactly good.
It is playable for sure, but for me personally my time with Odin Sphere on PS2 really helped (great game, worth checking out and fully translated) in figuring out Princess Crown quicker. It's a gorgeous 2D action rpg, it's never going to be translated. But I'd recommend playing the spiritual successor, Odin Sphere, on PS3 first if you have one.
