Well, I'm US based... so thats a bit higher than I want to go for now. I'll look into it though. Loks like a ton of fun.

US? 'Bout $65. It's a little more than I want to spend on it as well. But I just might make the jump in the next week or two.

EAR has gone way up.
This is an interesting thread, hopefully we don't mind having it bumped... but since Barry did it...
In The Hunt Id throw on that list, its Metal Slug like
CONTRA Legacy of War is also painfully absent. Although a US only release. It also gets some flack for being a Contra game that doesnt feel like any of the others. Its in my Top 20 Saturn games. I think it gets overlooked simply because people cant get over that its called Contra.

I'm finding In the Hunt (PAL), at least in a decent box, incredibly hard to find for sale anywhere. Like the look of it.

In The Hunt Id throw on that list, its Metal Slug like The style is definitely Metal Slug-like, which makes sense since they're made by the same people, but beyond that, I'd say it's definitely a shmup and not a run 'n gun. It's pretty awesome nonetheless, despite the crippling slowdown. CONTRA Legacy of War is also painfully absent. This was really meant for side-scrolling games in particular, a la Gunstar Heroes and the real Contra games. I also omitted the top-down and isometric stuff like Princess Clara Daisakusen.
