I just got done clearing the Sand Labyrinth in Shining Wisdom. Kind of an annoying place. Before that I dove into Gradius II and got further than I ever have before, to the end of the moai stage. I always play on normal with slowdown turned off.

Been doing some Pandemonium a lot. My platform games patience is definitley not what it once was. I entered the level select cheat after 20 mins. I blame Bug Too! for putting me through hell.
Did another 1 player Saturn Bomberman Arcade mode. Really enjoyed it. Still failing to complete the final boss on Keriotosse but I believe I have all the hidden characters. Also a bit of Vatlva and Samurai Shodown 4.

Still love the way it looks but I need to find time for it.

I was the same I owned it for awhile before I decided to take it seriously. I'm on a mission atm to fully explore all my platforms and rpg games before my patience levels turn to zero. Speaking of Zero, How's the Enemy Zero progress going?

Speaking of Zero, How's the Enemy Zero progress going? I put it down after I got frustrated right before the second disc (won't post spoilers for anyone). I only want to play Enemy Zero when I can commit time to it and Im in a good frame of mind since its really always been in my "top 5 wanted to play" since release. Part of me wants to keep saving it for Halloween time of year but not sure ill wait that long to pick it back up. I will say despite what I just said about it, Ive loved the atmosphere, the story and the graphics so far. Currently Ive been doing some casual Saturn gaming. Played alot of Darius Gaiden and Galactic Attack last night. Then tried to best my scores in NiGHTS. Speaking of platformers, my next plan is to finally play through Clockwork Knight 1 and 2.

Funny you mention Darius Gaiden and Galactic Attack I just did a poll on those two games. Good luck playing both Clockwork Knight games. Both great ganes. I'm currently playing Mr. Bones atm and am amazed of how much of the game I still haven't seen, it's so random it's incredible. I'm up to Rolling Logs atm. So much fun.

Will do! I said in that post last year I almost got spoiled by reading your posts. So Ive avoided any Enemy Zero related discussions. I even scroll past your signature. I know its silly but especially for games like this I like surprises Mr Bones is also on my backlog! Trying to really finish alot of the Saturn unique exclusives. Im a few stages into Ghen War as well.

I've been trying a whole bunch of stuff just casually recently, mostly shooters, but am already several hours into Shining Force III Scenario 1, which I am finally getting to play thanks to pseudo and the fan translation patches.
Loving it so far, can't recommend this enough if you are a fan of strategy games.

But SFIII S1 became one of my Top 10 games on the Saturn instantly. So much to love about the game. I still haven't gotten around to playing S2 and S3 but I think about it all the time.

Finally beat the original panzer dragoon... I know, i'm a bit late but i only got the game a few months ago. Comparing to PDZwei (the one i played until exhaustion) i found it waaaaay harder.

Since I've been doing the polls, certain games I've been playing more and more. Really enjoying my Quake reunion and have gotten further into the game than I ever have before. I must admit it used to grate on me before but I'm finding the whole experience rather pleasurable. The gritty atmosphere really adds to the tone of the game.
Other than that has been a few sports games I gave a quick bash, from NBA Action 98', NHL All star Hockey 98 and Sega World Wide Soccer 98'. All good experiences once again. I loaded up Madden 98' and was suprised to have found that I had forgotten all the moves. I didn't have a clue what to do or how to play it. Maybe because I wasn't big on American football in general but that will soon change.
Other than those I've been playing my new purchase, Kingdom Grand Prix. Loving it at the moment, althought there does seem to be some rubber banding going on. Either that or I just suck at it. Probably the latter lol. Once I learn what power up's do what I'll be better at it I'm sure.

I started playing "Bubble Bobble featuring Rainbow Islands" and Shinobi Legion out of curiosity. Neither of them are nearly as much of a testament to how the Saturn handles 2D as, say, Capcom fighting game ports, though Bubble Bobble was a solid 2-in-1 of arcade conversions and Shinobi X is pretty neat for its time.

So I've been playing alot of Vatlva and Keriotosse recently. I'm now happy to say with Vatlva, I finally managed to beat the boss on the hardest difficulty and as a reward I now have every single veichle avaliable to me in Arcade and Multi-Player mode. There's a total of 9 veichles. It actually plays better with the analogue controller, never thought to use it before.
Also completed Keriotosse for the first time. I've been trying to do that for a year. The dragon boss is so hard but I finally done him. Having unlocked all the secret characters I thought there would be a reward for beating the Dragon but there was none. Not that I can see anyway. More secrets were unlocked this week wit Vampire Savior as I managed to unlock the secret character called Shadow but to my dissapointment, he didn't have a proper character ending.
Also popped Sonic R in for the first time in maybe 3 years and remembered why I had avoided it for so long. Back when I actually had an Official Memory Cart and it decided to wipe all the game data, Sonic R was among the games saved on it. So Super Sonic, Mech-Sonic and all other hidden characters had gone. But not to be defeated I powered through yesterday and got all the chaos emeralds and 5 gold coins on each stage so now I finally have my secret characters back again. Took about 2 hours though!
Other gaming feats inclue Virtua Cop 2 with the mouse, House of the Dead and more progress on Tomb Raider. I'm up to level 13 I think. Saturn Bomberman also got some play. Having discovered Bomber-Godzilla, I now purposely pick the devil prize so he can be summoned every match. So much fun! Also did a few Decathlons on Athlete Kings, trying to match Link and get into the 13000's but no joy.

I've been really enjoying alot of Princess Crown lately. I attempted to play it so many years ago but got frustrated when my Official Memory wiped itself and until recently I had been avoiding to get back into it again.
I'm over halfway into the game at the Dwarf mime cart race. The story so far is excellent and I'm fully engaged with all the dilemmas that have engolfed the royal family. I also love the way Princess Gradiel controls in Battle, even when sshe's walking through towns. There's an air of snobbery about her that's just brilliant to see.
Best bit is the ingenious way of topping up your health, so much attention to detail in this game its crazy.
Should probably have it fully completed for the first time in probably a day or two and then the 3 side quests of the Portus, Prosperina and Edward await me. I hear they're not as long as Gradiel's main one so that will be a relief.
One of the best RPG's I've played on the Saturn. Definitly in my top 5.

It's finally happened. I've FINALLY completed Princess Crown. 5/5 experience and one of the best RPG'S on the Saturn. Great game, great story. I'm now entering the Chapter of Edward which follows on from Princess Gradiels main story. However, the mini quests for Edward, Prosperina and Portus haven't been translated yet but since they're a quarter of the size of the main story I might just OCR it with goggle translate. An excellent game so far though.
