This is the issue I have with amazon sellers, they virtually never reply when you request pics of the actual item. I'll second that! Even more frustrating when your search ends up leading you to Amazon!

They really should of taken a pic before shrink wrapping it. I've got a few things from that seller in the past.

I picked up my US copy for $50 AUD (I think? which might as well be a few British quid these days) because I couldn't find a better price for the quality of the copy.

I've gotten my own copy of the game with manual and disc but no box, and was pretty pleased with the little test run I gave it. The load times are long but the animations are a delight and it has that good sense of fun that every beat 'em up should have. I'll have to give it an earnest play soon.

One of the first games I had for my Saturn and still have to this day and one of my favorites on the system. Maybe it's just me but for some reason I really like this game and like the fact that it's one of the few 3 player games ever made. If I were to buy it today though I wouldn't wanna spend a ton of money on it though.
I say to anyone get it if you can find a nice price for it.

I keep forgetting how much prices have ballooned for this, it used to be damn cheap.

Wasn't sure what to play next on the Saturn, since I want to hold off on Crusader: No Remorse and Tomb Raider until we decide whether they'll be the next community playthrough. It struck me that I was rather in the mood for this game, so I finally began a proper playthrough of it today.
The first level was reasonably fun. Bashing a few orcs, getting a hang of the basics of the game. "Pit Bully" is a great funny boss battle, too. Terrific use of pseudo 3D, and it's quite satisfying to smack those flying wild dogs right back at the guy who threw them at you. I was really taken away with the visual of at all; the boss looks really menacing and really humorous at the same time.
With the third level, though, I have to say I'm beginning to sympathize with this game's detractors. Between the limited playing field and the fast movements of some of the enemies, whether or not you survive any given scrap seems to come down more to luck than anything else. But most annoying is the lack of temporary invincibility. I'm sure this would be no problem with three players, but in single player you need at least a split second to adjust to suddenly taking on a character in a different location and with a different set of moves. Over and over I find myself with all three dwarves down before I have the chance to realize that the first one took a hit.
The level feels a bit endless, too. Hopefully this game gets a bit easier after this.
