I tried going into the tv settings and altering them but to no avail. Pai is unhappy with the state of things!

Nothing you can do, the picture on my small CRT is also cut on the left side. You don't miss out too much though.I think it has to do how your TV handles overscan.

This is an well known issue - particularly with RGB SCART. Apparantly TVs have a hidden service mode that can rectify it but you need to be really careful as certain settings can wreck the TV.

Well this is quite a large tv and I have to say it is such a pleasure to play on it with s-video. Vampire Hunter looks fantastic on this!!! Even 3d polygonal games look much better on this big old tv when compared to my hd tv. I'm really happy with my $40 investment.

Depending on the TV you may be able to open it and adjust the pots. Of course, be careful messing around inside a CRT. Use an insulated/electricians screwdrivers and adjust slowly.

Check the TV menu's and if you can't see anything for Horizontal Position then look to see if it has a Service Mode by searching online using the TV's model number, (might be on the back). Do this before opening it up as you might be wasting your time if it's all chip controlled as it would have a Service Mode then...
