It's one of a number of Japanese only PCs that NEC produced, nothing really that exciting/unusual I would have thought? It even runs regular old Windows 95. The Saturn adapter card is just to allow the machine to use Saturn pads, before the days of USB adapters.

Yea it's just a regular PC, those Saturn controller boards can be picked up off Yahoo! Japan auctions for little money.

Does anyone know if those Saturn boards can be used with 64 bit Windows?

For anyone crazy enough the old Nvidia NV-1 graphics cards were based on the Saturn (use quads) have Saturn controller ports, and failed miserably. Most of the Sega PC ports of its time support it...
The computer in the auction is a 9821, they are DOS based computers, but are NOT combatible with normal PC DOS. They require special versions of DOS and Windows for them, and this includes all drivers.

None of the regular Sega PC ports support the Nv1, it came with special specific ports and had others available via mail-order.

There were like 6 games supporting the NV1 anyway, Toshinden, VF Remix, Nascar Racing, and I think Panzer Dragoon were among them.

The NV1 hardware was not based on the Saturn, and used a completely different technology. The NV1 used quadratic patches (think Bézier patches), while the Saturn used flat (not even 3D) quadrilaterals.
