Ah the cart dev, quite a few of us on here with them knocking around I think, although mine is Rev.B.
It's nothing but a museum piece now as PC's are powerful enough for any Saturn development.
Should have a modified Saturn with it, that's very pricey indeed, mine was $200 with the console.
That one isn't even working!

Anyone know what this is? I don't think the seller really knows. It's a development tool that lets you transfer data to and from a development PC, and can function as a debugger interface. That's an opensource device, originally designed by me. It can perform some of the functionality of the CartDev, but lacks the extra RAM or interrupt functionality. On the upside, you can build it yourself for less than fifty bucks and works on modern computers.

Oh antime you made that? Pretty sweet!
Nice to meet you or somethin'! We were discussing a while back about making a cartridge game as a community actually that anyone even without a modchip could play... if you don't mind me asking how hard would you say it'd be to run game code off a cartridge, and to get an EEPROM on a board?

if you don't mind me asking how hard would you say it'd be to run game code off a cartridge, and to get an EEPROM on a board? The cartridge has 256K flash on it, and is currently used to store the data transfer client which runs directly on startup. So yes, it's possible. It kind of depends on what you need. I believe you'd be limited to 64MB of space, without extra electronics. Cafe-Alpha has been working on putting an SD card interface on a cartridge, but I don't think he's got it working yet.
