Hello is Shining the Holy Ark really worth 999 U.S dollars? It is being sold on Amazon for 999 dollars for the U.S version. I have this game in mint condition do you think I could sell it for around that price? I don't think I could but what does everybody else think?

One ludicrous BIN price does not indicate what a game is worth. Go on ebay and search for completed listings for StHA. That will give you a much more accurate idea of what you could get for the game.
You're not getting $999 for it. Whoever listed that is an idiot.

Hey Zetastrike I was thinking the same thing. I bought Shining the Holy Ark through the Sega parts page a few years ago in mint condition for 60.00 dollars. Well I guess they think anything with Shining in it is going to sell big like Shining Wisdom

Here's what you do: Put the entire game inside a bigger clear plastic box, apply a sticker that says VGA Graded 95, and sell it for $999,999

Oh yeah. Probably my favorite video game soundtrack of all time. I still remember almost having a hard attack the first time I heard that theme that plays right outside Desire Mine. And honestly, how many other RPG battle themes manage to stay fresh after the 200th random battle of the game?

No game is worth more than £50 in my opinion, old/new/sealed or hanging together with duck tape.
The whole retro rare games scene is a racket and con which takes advantage of anal collectors, and prevents people interested in videogames playing certain historical videogames. I totally support piracy in these respects - i'm curious about Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shining Holy Ark now, but more than happy to pay fuck all for them and download the ISO. Unless of course Sega can re-release them at an affordable and sensible price on Xbox Live/PSN (and fairly untouched, or enhanced with option of playing original like Radiant Silvergun).

Only if you find an idiot that really wants to part with his money.
Mint versions are worth between 100- 150 dollars ( ebay prices anyway ) which is still high imo
