Hi all, just joined the forum (you can thank Carter for that).
I'm fairly new on the Sega Saturn scene, despite my age (33). I bought a Sega Saturn (PAL) only this year, with a bunch of games and not only was it the first Saturn i've owned, its the first Saturn i've played.
Accumulated a reasonable collection of 34 games so far, all PAL ones. Not really going to buy a huge amount more as they've all been acquired this year, so not cheap.
JUST BOUGHT SATURN BOMBERMAN THOUGH! :-)

Hey LM! WOO! Welcome, man! They have a whole topic dedicated to my reviews (which is awesome). So anytime I post there, you'll be able to see as well. I give very sporadic updates but it's far better than wondering where the hell I am. I'm around. I'm also replying to your posts on youtube.

Cheers both for the warm welcome.......N64 RULESSSSS, SATURN SUCKZZZZZ!
Joke :-) I am a whore for the entire 5th generation of consoles and happy to own all 3 (no, not the 3DO, Jaguar or CD32, i mean the proper 3!). Always was curious about the Saturn for many years long after its death and glad I got the big black beast in my games room, sitting proudly amongst the others.

Can't be that much of a whore, to have waited until your early 30's to pickup a Saturn Also, I have 3DO & Jag. certainly, they're not for everyone, but if you are enjoying the PAL Saturn library, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't enjoy 3DO gaming. It's a completely different thing to the Jaguar and they're not really comparable

You're right - I became a whore a bit later in life :-)
I'm not quite convinced about the 3DO or Jag. The CD-32 would probably be more likely, as i'm an Amiga 500/1200 fan. I don't really have the space to add 2 more consoles though. Think i've had to draw the line for that generation. The Saturn, PS1 and N64 were the big hitters though with the majority of the best games and highlights of that gen....and i've started to recently explore the Saturn and N64 library (the latter due to the wonderful Everdrive 64).

Welcome to the forum, trots off to look up Everdrive 64... ...HOLY SMOKES! I think you may have just made my day! Did I say welcome to the forum already? ;-) Thanks :-) Yes, the Everdrive 64 is rather amazing. I got mine from Retrotowers in the UK and it cost about £90-100 in total, including an 8GB sd card (thats all you need). You need to specify what region N64 you have, and they will create a cart for you, and all you need to do is place your ROMs on the SD card (4-8GB will give you PLENTY of storage for every N64 game going). Works a dream and I recommend it, especiallly seeing at the high cost of N64 games on ebay these days.
