Hey guys, new member here from the sunny Midlands of the UK. Been an avid gamer since my first system back in 1985, the Amstrad cpc464+, moving through the ages, unfortunately skipping the Saturn in favour of the n64, but making up for it since. I currently own my 3rd (and hopefully FINAL) Saturn after going on a recent spending spree trying to recapture my youth, other familiar units being an original NES, a Dreamcast and Gamecube. Hoping to collect the full library of Saturn games (money allowing) and found this place when looking for advice regarding the action replay and replacement rear panel. I currently only have 3 games for the Saturn, those being - Sega Rally, Tomb Raider and Virtua Fighter 2. Looking to pick up X-Men vs Streetfighter or Marvel Superheroes and Nights asap Look forward to being a part of this community, see you around

Welcome, and since you are going to collect the entire library I'd love to see pictures with your software hauls from time to time!

Oops, after checking through my games, I have Daytona USA, not sega rally. I picked up Sega rally championship 2 on my dreamcast, my bad. Though to make up for it I just bought Sega Rally and Marvel Super Heroes from the Ebays.
Thanks for the welcomes.

Welcome to the community cyber. Like others have said you have a solid start to your Saturn gaming. And if you are headed for a full collection and plan on getting everything CIB expect to be paying alot of cash for some bad games You can get alot of the best titles on the Saturn for relatively cheap though. Like yourself I spent the Saturn/N64/PSX generation with the N64. Now I have them all and enjoy games on each. If you are looking for info on the Action Replay we have an entire thread on it. If you need a link let me know

Welcome, you're off to a great start with the games you have.
Full collection? Best to bring a wallet filled to the brim. And as Captainkael mentioned, (I hate to say this) paying top money for some real stinkers. Either way, please post up you pick ups as time goes by!

Yeah, I'm old enough to know it isn't going to be a cheap 'game', so I'm not going to be over rushed to getting all. I'll most likely get unboxed or close and "replicate" the JPN covers to display what I have in a regular cd case and stand. When I say a complete collection, it will be of uk releases, but if I find a JPN or us game cheaper than uk then ill get that instead.....does that make sense?? Lol

Yes it does make sense, a lot of people do it as it is the most cost effective way to play some great titles.

Hi cyberrazorcut, welcome to the forums. I have youtube channel if you're looking for an opinion on which games to purchase. It's not everything but I'm working on it.

Yeah cool, thankyou I'll check it out when I go on my YouTube mission later tonight. Been browsing the 'bay recently and I see what people mean about game prices......YIKES. Maybe a full collection was a bit ambitious, I'll stick to games I've wanted to play and any "AAA" titles of the day (price allowing lol), still, hopefully I'll end up with a decent enough collection not to be shamed from this forum as not being 'Saturn fan' enough lol. Btw, this forum is great I've been poking around here and there. Keep up the great work folks

Watched a couple of your reviews Oho, looking good. Based on the ones I saw, I'm off to buy Hannnah Montanna on the PSP now

Watched a couple of your reviews Oho, looking good. Based on the ones I saw, I'm off to buy Hannnah Montanna on the PSP now Thanks, man! If you want one of the most expensive consoles to buy for from the 90s, look no further than the Saturn. It has been making a comeback in the last few years. The prices were quite expensive back in 2009 and it has just been getting progressively worse. Just remember: just because it's old doesn't mean it will be cheap. If the Saturn library is anything to go buy, it's actually the opposite. Limited run and unpopular in its lifetime means anyone getting into it will be forced to pay only the highest prices. I have heard in the US and UK that if you go to markets and car boot sales, you can get them cheap there. But if you're like me and stuck with eBay as your only option - fahgeddaboudit. If you're into collecting shmups for the system, I hope you have a job that pays well with no commitments.

Hi man. Good to see someone on here who also played N64 back in the day.
Now having a Saturn I realise actually I had the wrong console at the time. Although Zelda OOT and Mario 64 were and still are two of my favourite games of all time!
Be interested to see what games you get. I only got my Saturn a couple of years ago. So far I have only really played Virtua racing properly. Once my one year old daughter gets a little older I should have more time on my hands to play some more!
