Hello, I am new to using SSF and have been trying to get Virtua Cop to work with a mouse. I have found that the SSF_012_alpha seems to work best, but I am still having problems with the aim reticle creeping off to the sides and I have to memorize where to put the mouse on the screen at the start of training (haven't tried the levels yet, just testing with the targets so far) so that the reticle "attaches" right under the mouse instead of far to the side of it (which can lead to clicking off the screen).
Also, I have been trying to figure out how to enable full screen mode.
Thank you all ahead of time for your help.

Thank you all ahead of time for your help. I'd recommend just playing the arcade game using the m2emulator with RamjetM2Borderless. Once you've got that stuff installed, open EMULATOR.INI in a notepad document and change "DrawCross=0" to "DrawCross=1". Then launch the emulator, hit F2 to bring up the service menu and follow the instructions in the video below to calibrate your sights properly:

Thank you very much. I was surprised by how fast the responses were. I found the game to be unplayable with the SSF. 0.10 beta R1 version and am working on getting it going with the m2emulator, which looks promising. Currently figuring out how to turn my CD into a "rom", I'm going to try using my virtual CD drive program and see if that does it. Thanks again for your help - I'll let you know when I get it working!

You could just play the PC version of Virtua Cop.
