I have been looking into getting some more Saturn games lately and I have been picking up quite a few survival horror video games the past couple of months and was wondering if anyone has played D and Enemy Zero and would recommend picking up for playing. I have seen gameplay of both games on YouTube; D looks to be VERY slow and monotonous while Enemy Zero being a more Dungeon Crawler like game with the survival horror sci-fi feel.
If there are any other Saturn survival horror games besides these, Deep Fear, and Resident Evil I'll all up for the recommendations though I believe there aren't any more survival horror games on Saturn.

Hey Izod, I too am a huge classic Survival Horror genre fan. My favorite genre in the 90s, early 2000s before it sorta died off.
As you mentioned Deep Fear and Res Evil are your two exact matches for the genre. And if you havent played the first Res Evil play the Saturn version. Its fantastic IMO and has a bunch of little fun extras even if you're a fan of the PSX version. But there is also Alone in the Dark 2. Its a bit slower but still has its moments. Not too expensive either.
D and Enemy Zero are horror games but slightly different genres. If you are specifically looking for the Res Evil/Silent Hill/Dino Crisis style game then you only have two options.
But if youre ok with some solid Horror/Sci-Fi games then absolutely get them. Enemy Zero is a unique game even apart from D and its cool that it was a Saturn exclusive. After that you're looking at House of the Dead (light gun with horror theme) and ill throw in Alien Trilogy because its a moody Sci-fi FPS.

Enemy Zero is a Saturn gem. Every Saturn owner should own it. One of my favourite Pal games.

Alright I'll check out Alone in the Dark 2 and the Alien Trilogy cause I'm a sucker for anything Sci-Fi horror themed. The only RE1 that I own is the REmake Remastered on PS3, so it'll be cool to play through the original Resident Evil that has extras in the game. I own HOTD already and it is quite fun despite it being downgraded from the arcade. Enemy Zero is a Saturn gem. Everyone Saturn owner to should own it. One of my favourite Pal gam es.Enemy Zero seems to be the game to get then. I'll probably pick it up the next few checks I get, so thank you both for the recommendations! I might consider D if I find it for $20 or under.

Yeah, D is a very interesting game but I wouldn't call it survival horror. Enemy Zero as stated is definitely one to get. Probably Deep Fear too, but I can't say as I haven't played it.
