Hello, SS:UK! I don't know why I never signed up (perhaps because I'm not in the UK?), so I decided to rectify not being here today by being here today.
I'm not new to Saturn, but it's a rather recent acquisition of mine (went from emulation to genuine about five years ago). I don't have a very large collection, but I only keep what I like to play. I'm mostly a shooter guy, but I sample a bit of everything, and do enjoy its fighters and what few 2D platformers it has.
Looking forward to a chat about the still underrated Saturn!

Hey welcome! Its not all UKers here. Im also from New York. Buffalo to be exact. There are a fair amount of USers here. We never really had a Saturn website in the North America. Mostly sub forums on dozens of other forums. We all are on the same team regardless except youll find UKers seem to think their cases were better than ours!

Stayed at the Adam's Mark before driving to Niagara the next day. except youll find UKers seem to think their cases were better than ours! I'm hard-pressed to disagree, but long boxes are still long boxes. I confess I mostly have JP games with jewel cases.

(I just got here too ) I went the reverse route you did - started with the real thing, then (reluctantly) switched to emulation recently as I'm quite the traveler, it didn't make sense to keep jeopardizing the condition of my Saturn and games by lugging them everywhere. It was a practical decision in the end. If you like shmups, you picked the right system. Radiant Silvergun was one of the first import titles I ever owned, and if you can find it, is worth every dollar. On the less expensive tip, there's Galactic Attack. There's also quite a few platformers as well. Mind sharing your current collection before I make with the recommendations?
