Wow never thought there could be such a cool forum as this one. It just feels so real and sexy. Oh yea Anyway. Rescently I was sittin wid ma mate and I was lookin on the eBay for a PS3. He said hey look at some MegaDrives (another cool console). I did and straight away bought a bargain one. I sat there a bit longer and thought 'Sega Saturns were always my favourite'. I then saw one in mint condition in its box with 5 exellent quality games. I put a bid in for this and it cost me £60 eventually. A bit much really although I thought it must be rare to find descent boxes these days, with all the original stuff in still. It was one of the ones with the bulky joypads and diagonal switches. All a sheeky black sheen. Coool. This story does not end there though. I went on a bit of a hunt for descent games and stuff. Found some good deals and not so good deals so far. Gotta watch out with eBay for sure. I found some good dealers now though. Hmmm. 2 cut a long story short, I found a mint condition Nights into Dreams boxset (still with its seal), and the Christmas edition also mint. It was pricey though. I gotta sit back now, and check myself. It was a compulsion buy. Maybe you can guess wot it cost!?! Cheers if you read this far! Laterz ;D

Welcome to the boards. I know nothing about the PAL game market, but I can't imagine any version of Nights ever being expensive.

Thanks people. Wot a wounderful welcome.
Yea, the PAL boxset for Nights into Dreams with the 3D joypad is quite a rarety I think. You can actually still grab one on the UK eBaby. They are £60, not includin p+p. This is a reasonable price I think. Certainly not the kind of thing you buy every day. I just bought two Virtua Sticks on the US eBay too. They were only $50, includin p+p. All these things brand new of course for these prices. The seal on the Nights boxset was the clincher.
I cant really think of anything else I want now. I cant use non HDTV light guns, so the Virtua Cop boxsets are out. Just not gonna buy something I cant use though. I suppose those wireless joypads are something to look for. Maybe Ill catch a set of these in their box one day. Panzer Dragoon Saga is next on the list I think. Im lookin at one now. Not sure if I can offord it at the moment. Its all just so collectable though. Im right on the hobby horse.
Anyway... cheers. Happy days!!!

Hello, welcome. I'd shop around before paying £60 for Nights, for that amount of money the pad would wanna be in damn good nick. There wer quite a few copies of PAL Nights made.

Well, the Nights + 3D Pad boxset always sells for a fair lump of cash...

Im sure its not a copy. Unless people got a mini factory to bash out 3D pads and shiny boxes with elaborate imagery, as well as the official CDs. I dont think this would be economical though. Anyway, the people with it for sale on ebay (erm, hacksaw jim ) look reasonably legit with loads of feedback. I also got the Christmas special edition too. This was only £15 mint. Part of a console with games deal too Ive got a supposedly mint Enemy Zero, E0. I dont think the seller knew it was worth £40. I didnt either until I saw it for that. I think mine might be better condition too.

by copies neptune meant official copies of the game, not pirated versions, although much rarer games have been pirated. You would need Blank encoded Sega discs to actually make games that work on unchipped consoles (the code is on the outer rim of the disc), these are now very rare indeed...... cases of copied hardware and peripherals turning up are not unknown.......China makes lots of counterfeit stuff, mostly unlicensed third party clones though......

Oh right yes. I dont know what I thought he meant pirates for. Im sure there were alot of these boxsets on the market. If they are still like a decade old though, and the seal is still on them, they are worth a bit of a splash out. I saw a Virtua Cop + gun packeage, with seals, for £50. I nearly bought it even though I cant even use it. Nearly.
