Yeah it was my very own one you saw last time, it was quicker to ebay search than to take another picture at this time of year lol. Looks good standing in front of my Saturn games though. Theres no doubt that its a perfect item to go with Sega Rally. How hard would it have been for Sega to brand a few of those ! I popped in Xmas Nights today to see the New Years theme. Pretty awesome they included that.

Ha thats awesome. Its crazy they included all of these unlockables throughout year. Its also a bit odd since most people probably figure its just an Xmas game and wouldn't think to bust it out during other holidays.

Another game that has a data related thing linked to xmas is Bust-a-Move 2. It has an xmas themed intro/demo instead of the normal one if the clock is set to December. If I recall correct it also has a manual override in the options to set it if you wish to see it every time you boot the game no matter what... This Easter Egg type feature was not found in the PSone version.
and on Dreamcast... Official demo disc's from Sega like Dream-On should have a winter/xmas background behind all the demo/video screens this time of year, the ones you can select to play or view menu. They do in PAL land any way if the clock is set to December time.

Very good extension using the Saturn's system clock. Very unique.

I FINALLY got to play Christmas Nights ! I found a copy at a used game store in town. I had a copy before I had a Saturn back in 96 but could never find it after I bought one on eBay. Man, I felt like I got punched in the feels for some reason watching the intro. Nostalgia overdose, lol? I was amazed at how much goodies they put on the disk. Karaoke of the Nights song where you can change the pitch?! Freakin sweet! I think I found my new Christmas tradition. Thanks for the idea guys .

Absolutely! Such a great package for a small freebie disc. It really goes well with the original Nights as a complete package.
Valentines day is coming up so make sure you pop it in for another holiday unlock.

Thanks for the tip! I was amazed at the secret on April fool's day. Man, I've never seen such a great demo disc before. I really wish I had a mock up long box for it with some cool inserts.
