Long time Saturn owner here. I sold off the bulk of my collection many years ago to fund the purchase of a Dreamcast upon it's release (now a system I don't really care for). Alot of the now pricey US games like Burning Rangers, Shining Force 3 etc.. I traded in for next to nothing. The only really big ticket item I still have would be Panzer Saga (one of the few games I would never sell). I'm well past the collecting phase at this point, and I just want to play the games. Seeing the asinine prices on ebay for games I let go of and want to play again gives me a headache. Luckily, I stumbled across the Rhea/Phoebe development and was able to get in on a recent order list. Man, what a awesome development for the Saturn. For anyone who wants to get into the saturn and enjoy the classic games without breaking the bank, it's well worth the 130 euros.

Welcome. Great to see another Saturn fan here who cares very little about the Dreamcast.
Shame you got rid of your collection, but at least you have PD Saga. I'm pretty jealous of that. I want to play it but it's so darn expensive.
Hope to see you around!

Unless you've got some moral issue with pirating games Sega will never do anything with again, what's stopping you? There's plenty of means by which to play it. (modchip, Rhea, SSF etc..) It's one of the greatest games of all time, everyone SHOULD be able to play it. It's current asking price is a crime against gaming IMO. Download away.

Fair play, but it's always nice to hold a rarity. In fact, if you want to get a copy of PDS I will happily take the boxed version off your hands

Might have to try this Rhea once I've finished with my current batch of games. I can play CDRs but I find the whole process quite hit and miss - with about 1 in 3 ending up a coaster, and too often the music not coming out right. I suspect most of these could be solved with more technical nous on my part, but to be honest I don't have the time and energy to learn more about producing good discs... They also seem to make the Saturn's motor have to work harder which always worries me a bit.

There's no mod chip needed or pro action replay to load imports. The only utilities I've downloaded are DiscJuggler 6 and Daemon Tools Lite 4.46. I've ripped all my physical copies with the suggested options checked in DJ6 to the .cdi format. They've all worked. I've downloaded a bunch of ISO rips. Some have been bin/cue, others .ccd for example. (I try to avoid any of the MP3/cue combo ones. But most rips now a days seem to have moved away from that) I simply mount them in Daemon tools, fire up SSF to see if they boot. Then load up DJ6 again and rip to .cdi the same like I would for an actual disc. All have worked with the Rhea so far.

Welcome! Nice to see another stateside saturn fan! Also, yeah, I'm with you on the DC, too. Just doesn't have the appeal to me as I wish it did. Saturn and 3DO all the way, baby!

Welcome. Great to see another Saturn fan here who cares very little about the Dreamcast. Not really. It's rather tragic, actually...

I tried to get into the DC a few years ago. It just didn't click. It sits in the closet gathering dust. If it had a dvd player I would probably still be using it. I don't play Xbox anymore but we still use it quite a bit as a dvd player.

I like a fair number of games on the Dreamcast, but the controller and whole aesthetic of the system itself always put me off. Good job on hanging on the Panzer Dragoon Saga all those years, Atolm. Somehow my brother and I completely missed that game when it came out. Fortunately, when I got back into Saturn gaming early in the 21st century I was able to get a copy for a reasonable price, and have been enjoying it ever since.
