Always start with a joke, they said. Well! Hello. I have been playing saturn games since I was a lad, and I have not stopped, and have not sold anything from my collection aside from doubles, and those 10 copies of Wingman I got at a blockbuster clearancer sale. Funcoland was buying them for 7 bucks each, and I got them for 2 bucks each, so imagine my amazing profit!!!!!!!! I think I bought Dragon Force with the money. Anyhoo, yeah. I run a small game company called Necrosoft Games. We make this: Also we made this: The Saturn is my 2nd favorite console of all time, after the PC Engine (very close second). I've got.... 300-something games for it, but there's always more to get. I play whatever I buy, for at least an hour to determine whether it's worthwhile. I hope to find people to discuss and eventually trade Saturn things with. That's the point of this place, yes? HONK. the end

Welcome Exodus. That's a stellar amount of Saturn games you have, look forward to seeing pics of your collection at some point. Do have a favourite genre of game?

Unfortunately my collection is not in a super photograph-able situation - because of space issues (those western boxes are big!) I have all the discs in folders, and the boxes in storage in crawl spaces and whatnot. But perhaps some day, when I get..... shelves!
As for favorite genre, I'm big into shooters, fighting games, alternative/unusual RPGs, and platformers, probably in that order? I do find myself playing more of the action RPGs or quick action games these days though - the current game in my saturn is Legend of Oasis, trying to beat that thing finally, but even with gamefaqs I get lost!

Good luck to you on that one, I tried to complete it not so long ago but the random battle encounters while I was trying to progress in the game got a bit too irritating so I put it down for awhile. Gamefaqs is really useful with Saturn RPG's but yeah occasionally their info was a bit muddled so I'd use a visual aid like youtube.

yeah... I got pretty far with this game in highschool, but if I didn't beat it then, what's the likelihood I can get it done now? hmm.
so last night I played through wolf fang SS again instead. much easier!

Belated welcome to the boards! I've been enjoying your posts.
I second Derek's comments. I have amassed a considerable games collection over the years, and to me none of it looks half as nice as my North American Saturn games all lined up on a shelf.

Totally agree, although we are met with alot of PAL resistance to this opinion

Ah, so I see you did decide to come here. Cool! I did indeed! It is not quite as active as I hoped, with a lot of folks who are newer to the console, but it's still nice!
