Anyone else played this on the Saturn? I figured the port would be excellent yet after a few attempts to enjoy it I'm finding the handling to be genuinely game breaking. Can practically complete both arcade games with my eyes closed yet struggle to get past the early stages on the Saturn, anyone else find the port to be a bit shite?

I have it but haven't spent much time on it.

Bought it, tried it, thought it was rather repetitive and as you say the handling is awkward. Graphics and various bits of presentation are quite nice and nostalgic.
Sold it.

Handling was a bit skiddy, but once I'd figured it out (bear in mind, I'm not overly familiar with the ARC ver.) I did alright. Probably frustrating if your so used to the original version though I guess?

I would of given an arm and a leg for a perfect arcade version on Saturn to go with OutRun... For as long as I can remember though people have said don't eat the berries as they will make you ill no matter how nice they look on the tree.
In other words don't be fooled by the graphics as it's not the arcade version and the handling was said to be poor.

I'd rather go for arcade perfect roadblasters, myself! of course, there is a pretty close conversion of road blaster, but that's a totally different game

The arcade version of Roadblasters is on Midway Arcade Treasures 1 for PS2 & XBOX. I like to use a steering wheel (logitech) to play it on XBOX just to make the experience a bit more authentic. And yeah Roadblaster is a nice game. Not perfect but very nice indeed is the Atari Lynx version. Not too bad is the Sega Genesis version which never released in Europe, the original Genesis version is region free and will work on PAL machines.

Yeah, I've got the genesis version! it's not terrible. I feel this particular weird genre of road combat is underdone, a roadblasters sequel would be pretty niceeeee

Makes me think they didn't even bother to play their own game after it was ported, a shame really. " barryburton Sold it." Now selling it.

I'm keeping it. The Han Solo rip off on the cover makes it worth it to me.
