What are people's thoughts on the Saturn version of Virtua Racing?
As an arcade port it seems pretty average. Graphically, even the Model 1 coin-op looks better, has more detail, and runs at a consistent frame rate.
In its own right, however, I'm finding it a pretty fun game. The racing style is very reminiscent of early SEGA polygonal racers like Daytona USA and SEGA Rally and the coin-op tracks are some of their best. The new tracks, cars, and GP mode add to the game's longevity.

It's it's own racer that looks more or less look like V.R
Unlike V.R where you could take a lot of high speed corners at full speed and as if on rails when doing so, Saturn V.R you have to let go of the gas to turn, much like you would in most racers if going into a corner too fast... That's the major difference between this and the Arcade & MD versions.

What are people's thoughts on the Saturn version of Virtua Racing? I realise this is very brief of me, but I really don't mind V.R. It's terribly average but I think it's alright now and then for a change
