Hi everyone, I've recently upgraded my Saturn setup for RGB. I purchased a Saturn SCART cable from retrogamingcables and SCART to BNC cables from wookieewin on ebay. I've heard these were the best resources for the cables from sources like mylifegaming's retro RGB master class. The image that my BVM is displaying is a mess, and I'm not certain how to navigate my way through the issue. Below is more detailed information about my setup: NTSC Saturn Model 1 SCART C-Sync Cables for NTSC console Sony BVM D14H5U Some things I've noticed the display does is that the image is being presented. I can recognize some of the color patterns and the game I had running in the pictures is Cotton 2. The first image is Cotton from the opening sequence, and the second is of the title screen. Occasionally my BVM will say there is No Sync in the bottom left of the screen, and then say the resolution/hz (480/60i.) I've seen it occasionally swap between 60i and 60p or even seemingly random resolutions. The distorted image appears to be scrolling at times. Please let me know if I need to provide any further information.

for BVM you will need J-21 RGB Scart cable or adapter cable that will convert the RGB Scart to J-21 RGB Scart before plug into BVM/PVM monitor is I'm not mistaken

I should have clarified. I have it hooked up to an adapter for BNC, does this look wrong to you?

I don't have a PVM anymore, but that looks like a Sync issue. Does the monitor have a manual knob to adjust the level?

If the Scart -> BNC splitter is designed for SCART, it will work. In fact he is getting a picture, so the adapter cable is right, otherwise he wouldn't even get so much as a rolling picture. I'm guessing he has sync issues as well. I'd recommend a normal cable that uses composite video, with a sync splitter built in, since I've seen cases where c-sync was burned out in some consoles.

Thank you for the help everyone, the BVM is up and running! It was as simple as holding down the Shift button and pressing Sync.
