I've grown quite fond of the super scaler style arcade games on the Saturn lately, and have played Outrun, Afterburner 2, Space Harrier, Galaxy Force 2, Chase HQ, Night Striker S.
My question is are there any I'm missing you'd recommend?

The Saturn got a port of Power Drift but I don't know how good it is. The Dreamcast port is said to be arcade perfect.

Gale Racer - JPN Dreamcast port of Power Drift is like a HD remake built from the ground up with superb midi style music of the original tunes. Runs @ 60fps and is wicked! This version is 60hz ONLY, PAL Dreamcast's will need to be forced in to 60hz to load - VGA. Saturn Power Drift is more or less arcade perfect however: Runs @ 30fps Arcade Music is very loud forcing you to use the arranged music instead to get a happy medium. Thankfully the arranged music is awesome!!! A small amount of text is Japanese but does not in any way stop you from playing it! Power Drift is also on Nintendo 3DS. It's much like the Saturn version but this baby runs at 60fps and the 3D effect is maybe the best the machine has ever seen. It also has Japan and Overseas mode so in Japan mode it's like having a Sega Saturn in ya hands. See more info on 3DS Power Drift here: segasaturngroup.proboards.com/thread/9844/sega-3d-classic-collection-3ds Other games such as OutRun, Super Hang-on, AfterBurner, Space Harrier, Galaxy Force II & Thunder Blade are also on 3DS and very good too.

Thanks guys. I should have mentioned Power Drift as I've got that, a copied disc anyway. The 3DS version does indeed look very nice.
Gale Racer- is that any good? The draw distance looks shoddy, but maybe that's not a big deal when playing it.

I played the arcade back in the day but never bonded with it as it felt like a strange direction for Sega to be going, as in backwards... This was the era of Super Monaco GP going on to Virtua Racing with OutRunners stuck some where in the middle. That swinging Sonic was cool though!
From what I've seen on Saturn it's a bit like OutRun/Cruis'n USA and based on your best stage/goal times. From some comments some say you get used to the draw distance and the fact each stage has to load. Watch some vids and I'm sure that will help make your mind up if the price is right.

Gale Racer is less of a racing game and more of a game of memorization. The game is exactly the same every time.
