Hello,
Firstly I shall apologise in advance. My spelling may be quite bad, but it's down to typos i've done sone damage to my arm and my hand doesn't always wants to do what my brain wants..
So I have just started collecting for the Saturn, but I have been collecting for the Dreamcast for about 2 1/2 years now. I've amased about 30 games but because of some news, I decided to treat myself to a Sega Saturn. There were some games I was after and after months of deliberating, I bought one. I got a decentish deal for it. I bought a Saturn JP version of the Saturn because I didn't want to buy games from Japan and them then not work with the action replay and as the majority of games I will get are from Japan, I decided to get a Japanese console.
So far, I have got:
Bio Hazard
Deep Fear
Street Fighter collection
Street Fighter Zero
Street Fighter Zero 2
Street Fighter the movie (A game based ona movie based of game, interesting)
Mr Bones
Nights into Dreams
Fighters Megamix
Daytona
Vampire Hunter Darkstalkers Revenge
Fighting Vipers.
I quickly tested my console when I got it, but I haven't actually had a chance to play anythibg seriously.
So today, I decided to sit down and have a retro day. I have now noticed a fault. I don't know if this is an easy issue to solve or not.
I put on Mr Bones and played fine. I then went to play Street Fighter Collection and could not get it to play. Came up with a message error in Japanese about Ram. I didn't think the game required external Ram but I had my Par in the slot which has been registering. Same with all street fighters, Vampire Hunter and deep fear. Fighting Vipers was okay though. I also noticed something funny on the internal memory. The Saturn says I have no free space, but nothing saved! My Action Replay tells me my Saturn has no saves. I think there is a malfunction with the internal ram/memory but I don't actually know what to do about it. I can't find much info and my Saturn doesn't have a small reset button at the back i have put in a new Battery also i have a model 3220 white console from Japan. Has anyone encountered this kind of issue before?
Thabks in advance and I am looking forward to spending time reading through the tips and advice here.
