Hey Dil!
Welcome to the forums! I hope you are able to find a saturn soon! Do you happen to be in the Victoria area? I heard that some portions of Australia have locked down again on the news.

I am no expert but I have read enough of zyrobs posts to know that they should be recapped. If I recall correctly he always mentions that the caps are intended for a 20 year lifespan so we are well over. All that being said, I have not recapped mine, but I also bought it refurbished so maybe it was done. That was over 10 years ago so I have no idea haha.

It's a common issue, try recapping the console. Haha if I have learned one thing from your posts, its always try recapping!

Ya I feel that is a story one will never get fully over. Crazy how things like that happen eh. I always find I can never find a game for a good price, so eventually I cave and overpay. Then the next day ebay has like 15 for sale at the price I wanted before overpaying. Happens wayyyy too often haha.

I've told this story before, but if you've not heard it, then you'll get a laugh at this.. The Dreamcast had been out for 6 months or so and I was at my local market where I knew a couple of regular sellers always had 2nd hand Sega games. I asked him if he had any Dreamcast titles and he showed me a couple of DC boxes I wasn't much interested in. I was about to leave when he held up PDS, complete with cardboard outer. "Yours for 25 pounds!" he says... My reply? "Nobody wants Saturn stuff now, mate. Good luck getting 25 bucks for that.." I think I even rolled my eyes at him. I still have nightmares. Say it ain't so Rossi!!! My heart aches on your behalf

I was only ever this organised for the Saturn, probably because it my first big investment (in my late teens), very precious at the time!! But in the couple of years following, there were definitely some great bargains to be had. I remember picking up a multitap for $5 out of the bargain bucket at Toys'r'us! Boxed!! Man I should have bought everything in that bucket at the time, hindsight being 20/20 and all Great memories, those days were fun! If only eh? There are lots of things I coulda bought looking back that I wish I had. O well, Live and Learn!

And man a Saturn for 32$ thats a deal! Really wish I had been into the Saturn back then, woulda saved me some money!

I saw the brochure you put up. They looked pretty cool! Also thats crazy you still have the receipt (and were able to find it, I wouldn't be organized enough ) This is the receipt for the machine you saved in surgery the other day?

@jobal
Happy to hear that the patient was saved. Especially after what sounds like an organ transplant a few years back!

I have a USA orange one as part of the VC Gunset and a Black Japanese one as part of the House Of the Dead set . Don't use them much these days as I only have a 14 inch CRT. I play on a 12" sometimes when my 28" isn't set up. Aiming is alot easier on a small screen also easier to miss the screen entirely hahah
