I tend to think people care too much about the Trinitron label. My screen is great, but it's not perfect, and it's only just a little clearer than the Sharp model CRT I had before.
I'm definitely in the market for changing my screen, I'd love to save the space and go LCD + OSSC (in fact my £15 scaler introduces no noticable lag - though i've yet to thoroughly test that), but I hate the idea of not having access to light gun games.

I
It's a fun puzzle type game, stack up the food (Bones, Bamboo, Carrots) and then drop the animals (Dogs, Pandas, Rabbits) to eat up the pieces.

I want to add Sonic Jam and Sonic R to my collection. Not big ticket games, and games I had as a kid, but I really want them again.
Additionally I need to pick up a 3D controller at some point.

There’s no heretic option - HDTV with no scaler. Maybe there is, but the input delay means it's not showing yet

Just curious what others use.
I'm currently on a 25" Trinitron, and I'm really torn between what I want to do next.
I need to save space, so my options are: drop to a 19" Trinitron, buy a PVM (like gold dust in the UK) or get an upscaler. I'm going to wait til summer before I actually buy anything though, so I have time. Interested to hear your point of view.

Anyone here do it? I have a composite to USB capture device and was able to get this video from it before I formatted my hard drive. I realise that without getting my RGB scart to a HDMI adaptor, and then a HDMI capture the quality won't be great and that's OK. However I've been trying to recreate my set up in OBS and just can't seem to get it as it was it seems much fuzzier. How do you guys do it? Anyone use OBS? If so what settings do you use? EDIT: I've uploaded a quick video of how it looks so far, not sure what, if anything I can improve actually.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sega_Saturn_games contains a pretty good list of Saturn games, but I'm trying to narrow down the release dates for the PAL games. Some are listed merely by year, others by month then year. Can anyone help pin point the date of release, or even get the month for those that only have a year listed? The games with only a year listed are: 1995
Digital Pinball: Last Gladiators
Galactic Attack (NA/EU)
Layer Section (JP)
Galaxy Fight
Golden Axe: The Duel
Myst
Pebble Beach Golf Links
Shinobi Legions
Street Fighter: The Movie
Virtual Hydlide
Virtua Racing
1996
Battle Monsters
Black Dawn
Bubble Bobble featuring Rainbow Islands
Cyber Speedway
Darius II
Dragon Ball Z: Idainaru Dragon Ball DensetsuJP
(Dragon Ball Z: The Legend PAL)
DragonHeart: Fire & Steel
F1 Challenge
FIFA Soccer '96
Gungriffon
Hang-On GP NA
(Hang-On GP '95 JP; Hang-On GP '96 EU)
Hyper 3-D Pinball (NA)
Tilt! (EU)
Hyper 3D Pinball (JP)
Mortal Kombat II
Parodius (EU)
Gokujou Parodius: Deluxe Pack (JP)
Pinball Graffiti
Tetris Plus
Worms
1997
Actua Soccer Club Edition
Bust-a-Move 3
(Puzzle Bobble 3 JP )
Doom
FIFA: Road to World Cup 98
Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster
The Incredible Hulk: The Pantheon Saga
The Lost Vikings 2: Norse by Norsewest
Madden NFL 98
Mega Man X3
NASCAR 98
NBA Live '98
Rampage World Tour
Spot Goes To Hollywood
Trash It
Whizz
1998
Courier Crisis

NHL All-Star Hockey November 1995
Off-World Interceptor Extreme November 1995
Rayman November 1995
Robotica: Cybernation Revolt November 1995

The X-Men vs SF looks indeed nice, though I'm seeking in standalone version, which is way rarer and expensive for some reason I do not understand yet. I'm after this too. I have marvel vs game with the ram pack, I have a couple of action replay carts so really don't want to shell out for another ram pack. I did buy a stand alone version for £15, but it never arrived and I got a refund

Thanks. I always wanted one of those sticks, but when I was young I couldn't afford it and as an adult I resented the cost. Eventually I imported one in a lot with a Japanese console a few games and a memory card for the same money I'd pay for a stick only here in the UK. I just wish I could replace the parts without ruining the art.

So a few of the podcasts I really enjoy work on a game by game basis, they pick a game, play it, discuss it, kind of like a review I guess. That's the issue. I haven't really found what excites me.

Hi Everyone.
I've been a Saturn owner since 95/96, I cant quite remember. I was a teenager and my dad bought me the Saturn with Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter 2 and Command and Conquer.
It's been my favourite console since. Despite being in the UK I now own a Japanese Saturn and tend to buy Japanese games. I much prefer the cases. I have my action replay, so that I can buy a few PAL or NA games as required though.
I'm planning to make more of an effort to play my Saturn this year. Last year I contemplated starting a Saturn Youtube or Podcast but I haven't really found the motivation, hopefully it comes soon.
